Event Description

BIWWEC is a Sarawak’s international congregation of water & wastewater experts, and is run biennially by the Malaysia Water Association (MWA) Sarawak Branch.

​

Rebranded as the Borneo International Water and Wastewater Exhibition and Conference (BIWWEC) for its 5th instalment in 2022, the event aims to elevate its brand presence and enhance global exposure. As the leading water and wastewater management conference in Borneo, BIWWEC endeavours to amplify its impact and reach, fostering greater recognition and engagement on a global scale.

With an engaging theme of Bridging Solutions for Water Sustainability and the tagline Flowing Future, BIWWEC 2024 aims to work on active solutions and synergistic efforts through smart technology and innovation in Borneo.

This edition of BIWWEC 2024 is centred around these pillars: Energy Efficiency, Reduction of Non-Revenue Water (NRW), Innovative Asset Management, and Innovation Drivers (Digital Technology, AI, Decentralized Solutions).
