Event Description

The Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) will be organising Palm Oil Economic Review and Outlook Seminar R&O 2024.

This annual seminar will be held on 11th January 2024 (Thursday) at Pullman Kuala Lumpur City Centre. The theme for 2024 is Meeting Global Needs with Sustainable Palm Oil.

The objectives of this seminar are to disseminate information regarding the performance of the Malaysian oil palm industry in 2023 and prospects for 2024, deliberating issues and challenges in 2023 and its impact on the global palm oil supply and demand. It is also to highlight the latest market developments and opportunities for palm oil and sharing approaches taken by the government as well as to encourage sharing of knowledge between participants and speakers.
